We are thinking hard about letting Jake play flag football next year. He wanted to play football this year. I know the coach though and it wasn't happening. Plus they had 40+ kids on the team instead of 2-3 teams. They are more worried about winning their "plastic trophy championship" than actually teaching the kids something. Anyway, back to the topic at hand...where is he playing at?
He plays for the Trussville City youth league. We had the same problem with regular football last year. He spent most of his time on the sidelines and not learning skills, after having spent his WHOLE summer doing workouts. Good luck!
